    I have 2 Nerve Centers and they work great. It has a built in amp, so you can use cheap powerless computer speakers. You'll also need a trigger of some kind. I use break beams with mine, but you can use a pressure mat or PIR. I wouldn't recommend a PIR.

    If you are using PIRs outdoors; smog, leaves, wind, just about anything will set it off. If it's indoors it will probably be OK.
