Finished this one tonight. What do you guys think of the leaves? Stay or go...

The leaves look good. Keep em'.

I would use moss instead of leaves, but I really like it.

Thanks for the compliments. This was my inspiration. I was trying to make the leaves look like stone. Like they are a part of the tombstone itself, not just foliage from a tree dropped on. i'll keep working on my technique. I have some silk vines that iam going to dip in monstermud for a cross we are working on. Ill post pics when we r done.

I really like the leaves on yours. I've seen similar tombstones with leaves carved in and love the look. (not near as elaborate as your inspiration, which is fantastic by the way)

I like the leaves, I probably would have dipped them in some plaster of paris or something like that before applying so they look carved. IDK still like it.
