Thread: Wood whiskey barrels

i do a pirate themed haunt.i got a few of those wood whiskey barrels but want more.where can you find them? they are hard to come by.

I'm not sure where you live but here we have a place called Tractor Supply Co. that has them. and I've even seen them at large gardening centers. You might check and see if Lowe's or Home Depot can order them since thay have half barrels.

Our local Winery sells used ones, you might check with yours.

I live in the wine country, so there is no shortage of wine barrels. I have four of them that I use as a barrier in my driveway in front of my haunt. I screwed a large ring onto the side of each barrel and ran a thick rope through each ring to cordon off the bow section of my ship prop.

I also have a couple of smaller wooden barrels that I use for rum barrels in my set up. They are actually candy kegs. I got them from Lehman's Supply for around $45.00 each:
