I tried tonight to try to make my first spider victim. I am somewhat disappointed with it for now, but like my wife mention, this is just a test. Also, I will need a lot more spider web, I just had a small spider web bag and the quality was horrible, would not spread out. It didn't turn out like I wanted, but will try more in the future. Please be kind...

I like the idea you have to form the body. Yes it needs more webbing, but once you cover it than it should look great. Maybe use some cheese cloth to cover the body. I think once you cover the the base it should look great. Oh and I think I will try your idea of the base because it sure looks like what they do for the spider victim that they sell in the stores.

I too like your approach to the body. I think it looks great so far. The addition of cheese cloth as Josiegal mentioned might be a nice foundation to help cover the saran wrap type plastic and I would think would give it something better for spider webbing to grip onto. I assume the rings help make the prop collapsable for storing?

Love the pic with the cat in it. Your cat looks so much like the cat I use to have decades ago.
