I have this robotic Santa that I want to convert for Halloween without doing any permanent damage to him. I want to get two holiday seasons out of him. Other then adding a light weight costume on him, what would you all suggest? I can add a radio or mic to shut off the x-mas music.

I got one of those too at 75% off one year and haven't been able to destroy him yet

I figure once all the little ones who come here are grown I will be able to creep him up like the one I saw here many years ago. They had turned theirs into a pirate and painted his beard/hair black. Maybe a cream halloween makeup can be smeared on and wiped off later(test for staining first tho')
Other than that I was thinking of just putting a sheet over him and let him wiggle around..........

Erasable markers. Maybe do a skeleton face and hands, but leave the santa suit on?? Are there blacklight erasable markers?
Or Maybe just leave him, and create props of Oogie Boogie and Shock, Lock, and Barrel from "Nightmare Before Christmas" with knives and stuff behind him about to attack.

That thing is freaking me out as is!
I suppose I would just turn him into a bloody Santa and construct a little scene to support that. Of course, some of your neighbors may not be pleased, but that's what I would do. hehehe

JahRah, you mentioned NBC theme, but what if she made a sackcloth "costume" for him and made him Oogie Boogie?> Its different, and she could just take the costume off for Christmas. It should be easy and inexpensive to boot!

I have this same Santa and I think Ill be using this idea now, lol.
Ill do as suggested and include the minions. Not sure how to go about making those? Maybe converting the giggle buddies? Would have to buy some.
For the Oogie Boogie costume we can add some LEDs or something that could glow in the eye area, and can plug him into CD with his songs he sings from the movie.

I bought one of those when they first came out. He was turned into the lead singing of my first skeletal pirate band.

There is a house around the corner that turns theirs into Jason for halloween. He dons a mask, new duds and a machete.

Oh, I like that idea a lot Kitty. That's definitely the way I would go. Good call. But, I do have a biased toward NBC.
All the other ideas are great too.
What kind of look do you usually go for on Halloween Sidnami? Classic Halloween? Cutesy? Gorey?_________
