Thread: Chicken Exit!

We have a hallway that is about a quarter of the way through our haunt. In the hallway is a stairway that goes upstairs. (our haunt is in the basement of City Hall) In the past we have always covered that stairway so that people wouldnt mistakenly go up them. This year we are talking about making it a chicken exit........ Literally! hehe

Just trying to decide how to decorate ......

Any thoughts? One gal has one of those rubber chickens. We could hang it and put a light on it then hang a sign?

With all the great minds on here.... I know someone will come up with something clever!!!!

I think it's a great idea. Maybe tie the chicken and sign to a single hanging lightbulb over the exit?

Or make it a chicken exit, but they find out it is worse(Scarier) than if they continued. LOL

Yea, maybe we could hang something on the stairs to block the view and if anyone "chickens out" They could get a scare when they leave!

Could it be as easy as just writing 'chicken Exit' on a sign?
Maybe splatter whitish gray paint on the floor ?
Maybe put up some chicken wire going up the stairs a ways?
Put some corn in a feeder for ' chicken feed' ?

If only there was a way to make them wind back around... so they go right back to where they would have been if they hadn't taken the exit !
