What is your favorite glue/adhesive you like to use on your Halloween projects ? I'd have to say E6000 for me. Exceptional adhesion to wood, metal, glass, fiberglass, ceramics, masonry and concrete, adheres strongly to leather, vinyl and many plastics ect. It's waterproof, can be painted and stays flexible after drying.( Doesn't get brittle after drying like hot glue and super glue )
I buy it at Michaels crafts.

I guess my second favorite would be Great stuff. It's not really a glue per se,
but I've found it works great for gluing Styrofoam blocks together for sculpting
and 4x8 Styrofoam sheets to plywood, ect.

    What's your favorite ?

Great thread topic. You've sold me on the E6000.

Tried Gorilla Glue for the first time and WOW, I was impressed!

My usual go-to glue before has been wood glue. Ehhh..pretty good.

I agree with Terra on the Gorilla Glue. Love that stuff!!! Just a warning- don't get it between your leg and the garage floor. LOL
Also, love Loctite interior/ exterior heavy construction adhesive.
Will try the E6000. Is it pricey?

Thanks Terra Cathy, The E6000 is about $5-6 bucks. Use a Michaels 40% off coupon and it's pretty cheap ! What do you use the Loctite interior/ exterior heavy construction adhesive for ?

I have to say that I like both Gorilla Glue and Gorilla Tape. They are both really strong and adaptable for almost anything! I have used the E6000 before, only when making jewelry. Never thought of using it for my projects! I'll have to give it a try.

Bob- I use the Loctite primarily on my pink foam, and sometimes pvc pipe. It works on just about anything. It's about $4 a tube for the exterior type. I love the Gorilla Glue but it'll foam- up beyond where I want it to sometimes. And GG is hard to get off my hands. I lost my fingerprints months ago.

Pretty much the only adhesive I use is when I'm attaching PVC to tombstones or gluing blue foam together.
For that I use the Liquid Nails Construction Adhesive. It's in the tube like you put in a caulking gun.
I have many projects 6, 7, 8 years old still holding together with that stuff.

    Oooo, another powergrab fan.

Personally, I find it rather mediocre as an actual construction adhesive, and have had it fail in that role on numberous occasions, but it makes some great mache, and I've even been known to sculpt with it.

I also am a Liquid Nails user. I have some things that I think I'll need Gorilla Glue for, but I haven't gotten to them yet.

I see you guys talking about the pink and blue foam, but what do you think is the best for just gluing regular Styrofoam together for thickness? I am making stone walls and want to shape the foam so needed to get some smaller sheets to make the thickness. Never have had to glue before, it was always the right size, so looking for past successes.
