Thread: Ideas for latest dumpster find

The local movie store closed and i took a look in the dumpster, and found a ton of these plexie glass shelfs, there was a very big box so i tossed the whole thing in the car.
Im looking for some brain storming on what they would be good for, im thinking some servo mounts, but that still leaves dozen left for other projects.

Hoping someone on here can think up some more uses.

Hmmmm first impression in the first photo was Superman's Fortress of Solitude. Maybe some broken up and arranged in clumps I would back-light or bottom lite it with glowing/pulsing lights in a kind of rock crystal thing. Heck if your doing any kind of cave entrance/tunnel you could have those hanging from the ceiling or embedded in the walls.

i think cause there clear mayb you could do somthing were it looks like objects are floating but there on the shelf

Make it like a broken window cutting someone in half. If you are craffty enough maybe even a jerking body in the broken glass

Yeah making a broken window is a GREAT idea! I think Creepycathy did such a thing with plexiglass and it turned out great.
