Summer-ish weather is finally here! Here are a couple of the props I have been working on:

My hubby finished 6 can lanterns so far and we'll have a lot more by Halloween because I am using the Hunt's spaghetti sauce cans because they are cheap ($0.87/ea), I love spaghetti, and they are white on the inside so the light is brighter - sweet! By the way, all of the lights I use to simulate canlelight are LED flicker tealights. They have 8-packs at BigLots for 6 bucks and they come with 8 replacement batteries!!
    With Lights on:

    With lights off:

    Video below

2 Actual lanterns we purchased from BigLots ($6/ea). They came with citronella candles but I replaced them w/ flicker LED lights:

My Blucky jumper is almost finished. I still have to spray him with black light paint and paint the PVC rod black.

    Video below.

Too bad I have to RE-attach his arms!

Crappy spider skull thing into a usable skele-ghoul prop:

Bent the spider legs into a human frame and began paper mache':

Same paper mache' but dried, added great stuf hands and guts and tried out some red paint on the guts to see the effect on the great stuff:

Now to remove the jaw with hot knife to extend it to add to creepy factor:

    add the wire and attach:

I still need to do more paper mache', seal it and paint it before it's finished.

    Looks like you've been busy.

Life has been getting in the way of prop making....
