Every Halloween, I tend to take advantage of the trees in my yard by hanging creatures from them. Last year, I used strong fishing wires to hang plastic skeletons from the high branches to make them look like they were floating there.

This year, I'm thinking of having it look like that someone is hanging from the tree with little skeletons hanging on him. I got this idea from seeing this display.

So what do you all think and does any one else have any other ideas worth trying with the trees?

I use fishing line to hang bats and spiders from the porch ceiling. Maybe some of those or one on those kerosene lanterns with the electric bulbs in it?

My trees aren't as big as yours but I used strong (60lb. test) fishing line to hand my Bucky skeleton corpse marionette style so that it appeared to be free standing. You couldn't see the lines even in the daylight.
