    Hey there,

I just got my first wiper motor from Monster Guts and I bought the quick connect piece. No instructions came with it though so I'm wondering...

    1. There's two leads off the quick connect and five leads that it looks like I can connect to on the wiper motor. What goes where?

I don't want to damage anything and the leads don't easily slip on so I'm wondering before I do anything.

Anyone have any experience on these?

    Thanks,

    Grim

Go to the monster guts page for the wiper motor -http://monsterguts.com/electric-moto...or/prod_4.html
Then click on more images under the picture of the motor and you will find the connection directions.

i cannot find the link to the insctructions from the page link mentioned above ...

i just got 2 power pack kit and i also dont have a clue how to plug them but we figured it out i think , but their not working and i think it is the adaptor plug getting into the quick connect plug ....seems it doesnt insert tight enough so it doesnt make the current start the motor , because when we just feel the tip of the adaptor plug on the quick connect plug it wants to start

I have the power pack from monster guts also and i had to use a flat head screwdriver to open the end of the cord for them to go onto the motor a little easier. I didn't open them much, but a little helped a lot. I also found out that the lower settings on the power pack didn't even give it enough juice to turn with nothing attached, i thought it wasn't working when it was set on 1 or 2, but turn it up a little and it will start spinning.
Or email the guy at monster guts, he was very helpful when i just couldn't figure it out.

Same problem here. Defective quick connect. I cut off the end and spliced the wires together.

I had the same problem with the quick connect. Ended up tossing it aside, cut the end off the power pack cable and crimped new leads directly onto the 2 wires off of it to connect to the motor. Quick Connect seems to be the weak link of the monsterguts products.

The quick connect is probably not the problem. Not all DC power connectors are the same size, so the wart or power supply you have may not fit the center pin on the quick connect jack. I've never had a problem with the connector when using the MG power supplies, but if you're using a different one, use a tweezer or small needle-nose pliers to carefully bend the center pin toward the side of the barrel. This will let the pin contact the I.D. of the plug you're using. It's worked for me every time.
    a witch from canada,
    Try this link.
    http://monsterguts.com/index.php?act...od&productId=4
Click on the More Images link below the pic of the motor and a popup will show pics of how to wire the motor connections.
    I...have many names...
