Ok, I know that Skulltronix is probably the best motion talking skull out there. But my question is several. I have one now that just moves it's jaw and eyes light up red. The guy who sells these on ebay has them with the partially sleleton body made out of resin, cable system from skull to pc and pre-programed software to run it off of your computer.
So my question is, what's your opinion of either the Graveyard Skulls version or Frightprops has one as well. Or any of them out there. Mainly the ease of using, programing, etc... I know it depends on what I want to use it for. But for example, the Frightprop one looks real easy to use when you buy the skull complete with the talking unit installed. Just any feed back would be great.
THANKS !

I bought the graveyard one over the spring. I really liked it. I got the gyskull prebuilt. Now I ordered two more that are the lindburg and I'll build them myself. I really liked the prebuilt one but, it looked like the lindburg would be easier for me to build being a beginner at it. I got the vsa program but, it's a little much for me to use. It takes patience and tweeking and that just isn't me. For the price and with all the different options I really like the graveyard skulls. Now if I had unlimited funds or was charging an entrance fee I might go with the Skulltronics but, I can do so much more with my money by not buying those.

I like the pivoting head part and the exact programing of the eyes for Graveyard Skulls one. But I looked over Brookshire's site and the VSA. And I see what you mean. I am computer savy to a degree but when it gets to involved in programing I do choose ease over high end quality. The Frightprops one you almost plug and play kind of setup.

http://www.monkeybasic.com/sic.co This is what I used for my "Who's on the slab" routine. The jaw movement was done in VSA wave motion analys. The other movements were done with a joy stick using the Monkey Basic program. Worked great for me!!Nelson is a member here and usually will answer a question before it is asked. He ROCKS!!

Thanks for all the replies so far. This is why I come hear, because of all the friendly and knowledgable help I can find. I did email Frightprops yesterday with some questions at around 10 PM est, and he ( Doug ) replied like in five minutes of my email. Then we traded emails and he was very, very helpful in answering all of my questions. I probably will buy his talking skull & CD which was made for that skull system. Plus, his prices are a lot better for the samething then a few places I saw it on. I wont mention the other places but you can search other sites and see for yourselves. Thanks again !!

I've been out of it for a while and I didn't realize Fright Props was doing talking skulls. The video is great and the price seems pretty incredible by comparison to others I've seen. Should've asked for this for my birthday!!! But there's early Xmas......

Yeah, I do like the ease and the PRICE of Frightprops, again, not taking away from any others. The one I bought off of ebay for about $300 + shipping, has one of those cheap talking skulls with light up eyes. The half torso is molded out of resin and painted pretty nice. Also you get a HDMI cable with a USB plug for pluging into the computer. Plus you get four preprogramed CDs using Reaper and the CDs are of the: Haunted mansion, Pirates life for me, Halloween songs & M.J. Thriller song. All preprogramed to run the mouth and eyes and he gives you instruction and phone help if needed. But I wanted to go a step or two in quality to feel the waters, then maybe jump into something like Skulltronix. I see a guy selling one on hear which I would love to have. But gotta watch those pennies now days.
