I've bought skulls from Skeleton-Factory and have been pleased with my purchase. Right now they seem to be out of their Mr. Thrifty 4th quality blucky skulls until August however. Still a good source to keep in mind.

From the picture not the best looking Mr Thrifty skull I've seen but someone on Ebay has 10 of them on Buy It Now that might fit the bill for your project. From Biovere.

i have a few of those,, just ordered them a few weeks ago from the skeleton factory,, wasnt sure if that was what that one was called or not,, all these technical skull names and all,, lol,, but im looking for a foam one that i can cut pretty easily,, i could cut the plastic ones,, but i need it to be very light weight as it will be cut in half (face only) and glued to some foam board,, then i route my water system from the fountain to the skull that spits the water back into the fountain... im just afraid that if i use a plastic skull,, id end up with it falling off the foam board.. alot of foam ones i am finding are tiny, or child size.. would like it to be as close to actual size as possible but may need to alter my idea abit to acomodate the smaller skull..

You have to buy a dozen at a time, but you can pick a combo - http://frighttheatre.com/catalog2/in...4a911fc618f5a0 - sweet foam skulls
One pound of flesh. No more, no less. No bone. No cartlilage, but only flesh.

How about this hard foam realistic skull? http://www.kentuckyspecialfx.com/ver...life-size.html Specifically mentions being able to trim or cut up. Under $10 too.
Here's another one under $10 from BrandsOnSale. I just bought a candy dish from them and was pleased with the transaction. http://www.brandsonsale.com/hg-004627.html
Also found this foam skull but it doesn't have the lower jaw which I think by the sounds of what you described doing with it you probably want. However it comes from Party America and I'm thinking you might also want to check out any party stores you have in your area to see what they have in stock. Kids' pirate parties are a big theme and they probably always carry some skulls for that purpose. http://www.partyamerica.com/product/...l+6in+x+6in.do
Didn't check shipping on these for you, but sometimes that can be a deal killer.
