I have a space in our haunt that I think we would like to use a projector and project a video onto a scrimand sheet.
We really don't have a theme this year so, any kind of video could work.
I am thinking I would like to use the video of the Jackal in 13 Ghosts if I can get ahold of it, but if not... What kind of scary videos would you suggest?
Something startling! Fairly dark...
This would be playing in an area just before our claustrophobia room and just after a long 'endless' tunnel, that is sort of 'sewer' like. Right now I am thinking along the lines of the Jackal, the Ring Girl... Or sorta like the video they make for the Asylum door prop. Anyway.... just hoping someone would have a great video out there that they wouldnt mind sharing!
thanks for any suggestions!!!

I love projecting! If you are doing it on a scrim, I suggest projecting ghosts flying! Especially if you can see things behind the scrim. I wish I knew an animation program to do this.

How about some shots from the original horror movies...Dracula, Frankestien, Werewolf.

Any of those ideas can work !
I have the Hallowindow video that we used last year, but I was hoping for something different this year.
Keep 'em coming.....

If you have a video camera, this might be a good idea: http://davishousenews.blogspot.com/2...this-year.html
It seems easy enough. I am considering this myself."CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT YOU KNOW..." "I KNOW"

Would this work?

You'd need a really dark set-up for it to be effective.Wolfman

These aren't exactly "scary" per se, but are pretty cool projection ideas posted by a very talented fellow on the "backyardtheatre" forum. You can download the 720p res files by the right click "save target as" on the below links:

Have you checked out what Hi-Rez from this forum is offering? He has created several videos for different prop applications, but one video (Ghosts) is specifically for projecting and I think he is working on another. You can see a sample of the finished one on youtube here which also has very high quality audio.
