I am not sure if this is where this thread goes but it seemed like a good spot to me.
I thought I would share some picture of items that I worked on or am working on this past winter/spring. FYI: THIS IS NO WAY OF ME TAKING CREDIT FROM ANYONE WHO CAME UP THIS THE FOLLOWING IDEAS. I have been thru this web site hundreds if not thousands of time looking for ideas and help. ALL of these props that I have made are due to the hard work and help of you, the haunters of this site. I thank-you for making “How tos”, step-by-step instructions or just posting pic/idea so I and others can keep the Halloween spirit alive in our towns. Again, thank-you. If anyone has any question or feed back, please don’t be afraid - I’m tough, I can handle it. Just remember, I am sort of new to this so be gentle.
My version of Conjuring Madame Leota
My fence will have Plastic black Triad Spears on top, painted black and then painted rust areas to give it an “old” look I hope.
My version of flickering candles. I already painted them with a brown stain but never took any picture after the fact. Sorry, there packed away.
I have a total of 9 books moving split between the top 2 shelves. I plan on putting a pair of beady eyesat the bottom.
The left column will have the haunt sign while the right will have a light flickering……. I think.
Right now I am trying to finish up my tombstone. I’ll post pictures of them when there done…if I ever get them done. Thanks for looking.

*GASP* Oh... my... word... I ADORE those columns... Mind sharing how you did them? I love the fact that you put the bricks underneath the crumbling mortar. It was actually a trick used with builders to put mortar or even marble over a brick base, to make it look like the entire structure was made from the covering material, even though it wasn't. The point was because the bricks were much cheaper than doing the whole thing in what they covered it with (whether they chose mortar, marble, or some other expensive stone). That is a very unique, well-thought, and wonderfully executed detail! Won't you please share your secret!

You are making Madame Leota too? How is that working for you? Was looking for a globe but I might have to change it to something else. What are you doing with it?

Must have been a long winter in Cleveland! They all look great. I especially like the columns. Isn't it wonderful having a site where people share ideas and get excited when you copy them?
