I have been reading this forum since practically day one and remember one of the old members saying he poured paint onto saran wrap and when dry, peeled it off and used that to corpse with. It even had wrinkles in it from the wrap.

I used saran wrap with latex paint in 2005 and the look was good but it didn't hold up very well over time . This was the prop I used it on and a huge saw blade would drop down on the prop and blood squirted up into the stomach so I guess that was part of the reason it didn't hold up. I changed it to paper towel and carpet latex.


Saran Wrap and paint would probably hold up better on a corpse prop and wouldn't cost very much to try it out.
