I just completed my Zombie Pirate. This is my fourth "Blucky" zombie. Pretty Happy, each one is better than the last.
I did a lot of cosmetic work on the skull, filled in the eye sockets, removed and installed new teeth, expanded the jaw to name a few. The hands are made from my favorite, Crayola Model Magic. The candy is not real, I replaced it with model magic.
Thanks to VooDoo Van Shrunken head for the Epoxy eye ball trick. I will be doing that from now on.
I also would like to think I'm getting the intricacies of airbrushing down, this one looks much better than the others, more natural, if that is possible. I got lucky and found a flat overcoat that went wrong in a good way. It really dulled the Blucky and it left a fine granular surface that just makes the display.

Up next is my animatronic Butler (my first animatronic).

Do you plan on using a black light to make em glow?
Did you touch up the zombie parrot?

Do you have a close up ? I love him and where did you get his pants? Love those too for my pirates

Thanks for the compliments. As for lighting, I'm a newbie, this will be my second year and I have not thought out that far yet. I want to do lighting. I just don't know what yet. I did not touch up the parrot. If I do anything it will be the LED eyes and brighter paint on the bones.

The pants are from a female halloween pirate costume I had lying around. I will try to take a close up of the face once it stops raining here in NY.
