It depends where you live. When I was living in AZ I couldnt find it anywhere. I get mine from Home Depot or Lowes.

    Home Depot! I believe they come in 2' x 4' and/or 4' x 8' panels in thicknesses of 1", 1.5", and 2".

I've found that its hit or miss at the Home Despot. But u definitely want the 2" thick pink or blue stuff. I got the 1and a half insulation and had to glue 2 panels together to get the desired thickness. Then one day I found they had the thicker stuff and bought all they had, about 12 panels.

I'm still looking around myself. I've looked at Lowes and Home Depot here locally and all they have is the 1" thick. I'm going to ask if they can order it. Maybe because I live in Texas.

I like the 1 1/2" thick. What I do is sandwich two PVC pipes between two sheets. I not only end up with a great 3" thickness but PVC channels are easily built-in for the rebar.

You can either cut the excess PVC pipe after gluing or cut to fit prior. I like to cut to fit now.

I agree with Terra. I think it is the most affective method, especially if you have strong winds like I have had in TN.
Why am I so sympathetic to the monsters. The answer is simple. Because I am one!

I like Terra's "PVC sandwich" technique though I used 1.5" pink on the front and cheaper 1" white on the back.

Here in the land of way too cold, HD has 50' long 1/2" fanfold sheets and 3" pink, Lowe's has 1 1/2" blue, and Sutherland's (smaller chain) has 1" and 2" blue. It's nice being able to get any size and not drive more than 8 miles, but the prices are all too high.

Terra, that looks really good. That's the only way I'd go with styrofoam. I've been considering swapping out all mine with plywood- the thin kind. No matter how I try, my store bought tombstones take a heck of a beating in the wind. And I really secure the darn things. Last year was so windy, I actually adopted a couple that blew into my yard from somewhere else! LOL! But after three years now, this is getting to be too much. I'm gonna trace my nice tombstones onto plywood, paint, secure really well, and be done with it. That will cut down on at least 70% of my re-adjustments in the wind. I GIVE!
