Hi all. I just finished another display. A different take on the traditional witch crash. I got the idea for it from a cake I saw while googling "Witch Crashes". I thought it was funny so I made my own.
I got the coal idea from LT Scare's posting on hot glowing coals. Thanks, great stuff. My lights are LED, battery powered. I made a chamber for it in the foam so it can't be seen.
The shoes are from the Wizard of Oz. I was thinking of making this more elaborate. I was going to have the Wicked Witch of the west behind it and make the legs Dorothy's. The display would have been called "The wicked witch gets her revenge.
The legs are 2X4's trimmed into the shape of a leg with sections of trimmed Foam Pool noodle to give the sides roundness (is that eben a word?).
Pretty happy, learned alot that I can apply to future builds. This is part of my Broom Glida's School of Broom Stick Flying display.
Here she is .....
