Ever wanted to have a magic wand to control something? Well ThinkGeek has one that can learn from any remote in your house and give you 13 wand movements that enable you to control a TV, or anything with a remote. Hello witches and warlocks on halloween; the power is yours to perform for the kids. A bit on the pricey side but what a cool prop this would make. I'm clueless when it comes to how remotes really work. I'd love to hear from people what kinds of things they think this would be able to control. Would it only work on one product at a time or would you be able to control a remote controlled fogger, outdoor lights, etc. all with the same wand but using different programmed wand strokes?
I think this device could make being a witch/warlock more popular.
Here's the wand in action. You need to wait until near the end of the video to see it used however.

Here's the same wand available from a outfit in Germany (better example of how it works):

Found a few more videoes of it controlling different things. The product name BTW seems to be Kymera Magic Wand.
Here it is controlling a room light using an IR remote controlled light switch:

Here's the company's website, The Wand Company.Com, where you can see the manuals for the wand. Very nice interactive site (a la Harry Potter), so be sure to explore the site by clicking on items to learn everything there is to learn about it. The more I see of this the more I want one.
