Anyone made one of these props i know the concept of the persons body under the tabletop but want to make it not so obvious as the first thing customers do is look underneath the table.The professionally made ones the table top looks thin which really pushes the illusion of nothing underneath.Any help or photos would be awesome

The best table design I've come up with is as follows:

The idea is that you build a contoured space beneath the table. The table and edge are thin and angular, but the contoured basin in the center gives enough room for an actor's legs without showing any hard edges beneath the table.
Here's a fun site that describes many different ways of showing the trick. Alas, it doesn't share how the "trick" is done.

You could put a lip around the table to make it seem thicker

a couple of years back a friend and i had a morgue table with a concrete vibrator(not sure of it's proper name) and it was a hit! I know this is a little out of left field but it was a great addition and maybe something you could use.
