Hey all,has anybody tried their hand at makeing any wolves for a haunt??the mrs would like my to make three of them...the big thing is ii would like the head to look as realistic as possible..so if anyone has any idea how i could find some sort of cheap wolf skull and where i could find them as to give a firm base to start with it would be a huge help....

How much are you willing to spend? If you really want true realism i can point you in the right direction but its not going to be cheap. I'm talking like 300.00+ a wolf.

True pain and suffering he brought to them all
Away ran the children to hide in their beds,
for fear that the devil would chop off their heads..."

There's always Van Dykes, a taxidermy store, if you are looking for wolf forms to build from. They carry just about anything you need to build a realistic wolf (I'm assuming that you're not looking to do a reindeer/wolf?). I ordered some wolf night-eyes from them to use with my reindeer/wolf prop this past year and was very pleased with their customer service and ordering process.

Here's a link to a "wolf" search for what they have to offer. Their website has a how-to section that you may also find useful.

OMG! I don't know why I didn't think of Cabela's before! Pretty cheap, too!

I used Van Dykes for my Resident Evil Zombie Dog. They are going to be your best bet but its gonna get pricey. I have pics in my profile so you can see how the form will look when you get it.
