I have a few new ones that I like this year, one is called Demon
the other is called Bostonia
Both are relatively easy to carve with a dremel.

Here are two ways to make the font bigger than MS Word will allow:
1- Print out the text that you want in the biggest font that you can and then use a copier machine (or all-in-one printer) to upscale the font even larger.
2- Download free "Banner" software. It's been a while since I did it (for the 1' tall letters on my cemetery entrance sign), so I don't remember all of the details.

You cannot add to the numbers listed in the font drop down box in Word. However, you can type in any number you want (I believe the maximum is 1638). Just highlight the text you want to resize, then highlight the font size in the Font Size box and type in your own number, then press Enter.

its hard to pick one, I tend to match the font to the "age" and caliber of the stone. dafont.com is a great source for free fonts. They have tons of common fonts but also full of interesting, creative and themed fonts. When Im looking for a particular font I tent to start there. I have a rough idea of what I want the over image of the stone to be and start looking for a font to match.

I go here http://www.1001freefonts.com/ and browse through the many fonts they have. You can view them by the way they will look and get a feel for what you like best.......not that i make that many more tombstones anymore but......have a look.....
