I was surfing the web for accessories for my Zombie Pirate and stumbled on this, a Zombie Parrot. It was only $5 so what was there to lose. Might just repaint it for better effects. It should good on my zombie pirate's shoulder.

I love him! Where on earth did you get him from? I kind of like the paint job he already has but if you redo him, please come back and post a pic.

I found him on Amazon. It was through Rubies. I had a gift certificate for $5. They list it for $9.99. It is pretty big too.

Nice find for 5 bones ! I bought one for my pirate too ! I ended up re-painting him.

He wouldn't go VOOM if you put 4000 volts through him. Bereft of life he's gone to meet the choir invisible. He is an ex-parrot.

Looks even better re-painted. I was on the fence about it, but not anymore.

Thanks for the info BeaconSamurai. Your's looks much better than the photo on Amazon. Hadn't realized Rubies sold on there. Bobzilla, love your paint job. Interesting look with both heads. I think the original looks rather ominious but the total skull look works really well too.

BTW the Amazon description doesn't say, but what is the parrot made of? Is it hollow? Thanks.

But was he dead when you bought 'em? Maybe you can make a complaint to customer service.

Customer: I wish to complain about this parrot what I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique.

Customer: I'll tell you what's wrong with it. It's dead, that's what's wrong with it.

Spookie, The bird is rubber with an insert of foam in it that can be removed. It has a large opening in the lower belly area. I might fill mine with expanding foam and make skeleton feet and legs for it.
Hunter, Monty Python skit, that one is one of my favorites. He even beats it against the counter!
