Greetings,
Years ago, the owner of my first haunt bought a nice animatronic reaper at an auction. The arms moves, the eyes lit up and it gave a long speech when someone stepped on a pressure mat (if I recall correctly).
Well, the reaper was sold to my new haunt, but the control box had been stored in a friend's garage, who had their house repossessed. And now, we have an excellent reaper, but it's now just a static prop.
I was wondering if anyone could help in identifying this horrifically lovely prop. If at all possible (and I know this is quite the long shot), I'd love to get another control box for the big guy. He stands 8 feet tall... well, let me include an image:
Any information would be helpful. I believe the reaper was picked up in 2001 or so, but there's no telling how old it actually is.
Thank you for reading this. Good day to you.

I don't know, but have you checked all over it for a company logo or something? That is one awesome reaper!

Well Dawn was kind enough to give me LOADS of information including a ton of leads to look into but there was one thing in her PM that stood out above all others: the prop is very very verbose and most people will simply run past it. So, I don't know if it's worth the time, effort, or cash to get the proper controller for it.
That said, thanks to everyone for reading my post and thanks again to Dawn for all the great info.I can't believe I just posted that.

Glad she could give you more info on it! Either way it's an awesom addition to any haunt.

Not sure what movements it had but you could always hack into it and supply a new controller of your choice and make your own sound track.....ZR

Thats what I would do! Pick up a miniBrick4 or 8 depending on how many movements you need. Should only be about $200. You can program it yourself with the buttons on the unit. Made by Gilderfluke. These are my favorite controllers when I dont need sound.
