hey guys, does anyone know where I can find a slow toque motor, maybe something around 10 rpm a minute. It also has to be really small too (it's for a school project.
    Thanks,

I got this 15 rpm one for my witch's head movement and it's strong enough I couldn't stop the shaft from turning with my fingers, but it pulls over an amp.

I think they made comic books too! DC, that is.
I have very interesting and unusual motors, they are very quiet(good!) they operate on 120 volts, they slowly extend a steel shaft out avbout 1/4 of an inch, then retract it, all very powerfull, anybody have a guess what they are from? (I know)
    They are urnial flushing motors!

DC simply means direct current, AC being alternating current. DC can also be from a battery but the one I suggested isn't battery operated. I don't think you will find a battery operated one with any real torque that you are looking for.

The best way I've found is to pop open the case of the motor, pull out and discard the two gold male pins and solder a wire onto each of the two inside motor terminals.
Then run the wires outside the motor case (where the two gold pins used to be), put it back together and solder the wires to your AC/DC adapter.
