Very cool!
Now for questions! What servos are you using? What kind of material are the rods? Did you custom made the mounts or hack something from the hardware store?
I have gotten my first 3-axis skull together and would really like to get some moving arms on him some day.

Wow! I'm impressed! I had a lot of fun building the arm for our bucky so I can truly appreciate the challenges you faced. It is hard to see what kind of servos you used and how you mounted them. I'd love to see some stills of the shoulder. That was the hardest part of my build. Getting the out from the side movement and the up and down of the upper arm all within the shoulder area was a challenge. At first, I wanted to build the arm so that it could be fully extended out to the side like yours does. I zoomed way in on your video so I think I see what you did. It looks like you maybe made some brackets like the pan and tilt brackets that lynxmotion sells. I like the way you did it and it looks compact in the shoulder area. I love what you did! Some very nice work! The only thing I would have done different would be the elbow. It looks like your vertical elbow movement is limited by the bracket. I would have built the elbow like mine so that you could completely fold the lower arm onto the upper arm. I had to do that because of the plan to have our arm cracking a buggy whip.
BTW, I mounted a bucky hand holding a buggy whip on the end of our arm and everything worked great. I'll put up a short vid maybe tomorrow.

Very impressive , seems to have fluid movement. Echoing slicerd questions, what did you use to run it VSA? Again VERY IMPRESSIVE!!
