Who sells the cheap lil ligtning FX box?

as the title states,, looking to add some ligtning this year,, but on the cheap... have dug through some older posts but most links are no longer good, etc...

Things I Never Knew Existed (Catalog Retailer) used to carry them, but it looks like they no longer carry them. When you search, search for "Sound Activated Christmas Lights." That is what they called them when I bought mine. It had a Christmas tree on it instead of a Halloween design, but it is the same.

It may not be what you consider cheap but I bought one at frightprops.com It's similiar to the one they usd in the spirits store several years ago. It cost $200 but was well worth it

I found two of the lighting fx boxes (with the christmas tree but they're all the same) on closeout at Tuesday Morning last summer for about seven bucks each - they were a great, inexpensive addition to my Halloween lighting. I'd never heard of it then, but could see that it had good decorating possibilties! I used one to animate a big group of linked pumpkins to music, the little tots and parents really enjoyed it

Most sites on -line seem to show them as out of stock, they may be discontinued.
Keep your eyes open and if you see one, grab it quick!

Since both ABC Distributors/LTD Commodities and Things You Never Knew Existed aren't listing them any longer, I guess the answer right now to the best of my knowledge would be no one. I think the "really cheap" boxes won't be back until Sept. or October later this year if either store restocks them again. I know ABC has carried them for the past two to three years.

There's always the hunt on Ebay in the meantime.

I think Fright Catalog carried them this past year as well as Spirit Halloween. Both places would have carried the Halloween version (at retail price most likely)--black box with purple or orange lightning bolt. BuyCostumes also carried it ($19.99, website shows out of stock or no longer available). Star Light and Magic is carrying it for $50; eTrickShop has it for $45. Not the pricing you are looking for however.

The only other suggestion I have is to also try checking out Christmas shops. Maybe you can find the Xmas version of it on clearance somewhere still. The boxes are becoming harder to come by but I'm thinking the Christmas version will be around for a while still.
