Bought this mechanical device at a local industrial surplus shop. The idea is to have a burned female figure rise up and down within the barrel. We will have lights, fog, and sound. We want to make it look like a burning cauldron. We still have a lot of cleaning to do before we paint and age it up. More to come.

Don't know what you have planned as far as making her move or how many people you will have on hand that night, but you have the absolute perfect situation to use fishing line. Everyone always says it's too simple, but sometimes we make things harder than they have to be.
