If you go to either Garage of evil or hauntcast and look for thr "prop 101" it will give you a wealth of information. There are a lot of different ways to run props I came up with a way using a PLR which a very generic version of a PLC to run my routine from my computer and it worked pretty well. As far as the prop -1 goes ,John at EFX-TEK is a huge help!!

Not really, you need to have a basic knowledge of ladder logic to do it . I have a real inexpensive one and 5 plc's at my dispoal!!

A lot of people use some version of a microcontroller, which is what the prop-1 is, there are many type and brands available . It all gets down to what do you want to do now and what are your plans for the future. and as always $$$$$$.
