I made this last night. Still needs some tweaking and fine tuning.

How does it work? Is it attached to a motor with a crank?

I'll put up a vid of the contraption later, but there's a reindeer motor with a spring attached, the other end of the spring is attached to some black pvc that's nailed to a board. And that board is connected to the bottom one with a hinge.

please put up vid or pic mechanism.I am trying to use my deer motors for something.
I like it coming from the side instead of the top.

Ahhh, I see. Nice variation on the classic peeper!

It's just taped with regular tape for now, my duct tape disappeared! I suppose i could secure the motor on one side with screws.

Niiiice - I see how the spring gives it the extra extension when the weight shifts away from the fulcrum. Clever!
