I had one new prop in my haunted forest last year that was a great hit. I used wood pallets, couch springs and old rope to make a rickety bridge that swayed when walked across. Under the bridge I laid out black plastic to look like a tar pit. I had some half torsos and various body parts sticking up out of the tar. I then dug a hole under the plastic just big enough for a person to sit in. I had a live person dressed in a full body zentai suit(shiny black) sitting in the hole. Their upper body was above ground just like the dummies. When people crossed the bridge the "tar person" had the option of merely moving arms and body or of rising out of the pit and chasing. Talk about screaming people. It was great fun!

Okay, it's been so long that I posted any pictures that I forgot how. If someone could give me a quick refresher I will share some pics.

You can make a free account at Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket, and upload them to that site using their web page to upload images. Then when you have the image uploaded, click on
- "Share" above the image,
- Click on the "Get Link Code" tab,
- Look for the section that says IMG for bulletin boards & forums
- Look for the line that says [URL]http://... Clickable Thumbnail
- Copy and paste that here, and it should just work!
I think as a general rule the images should be about 800x600, otherwise it could slow down the whole webpage when trying to open it. You could always link to full sizes if you have them up. The full size link should be on that same tab.
Someone else feel free to correct me and/or add on!
