If you have the problem of wanting a gravesite in your yard but don't want to put dirt on top of your grass, here is a link to a cool and inexpensive idea.
Sorry if it isn't new but I hadn't seen it on here before.

Interesting idea. As the instructions mention, don't leave this on your grass for more than a couple days; it will start to kill your grass. If you use a nutrient-rich soil or compost, however, you can leave it on the grass throughout the Halloween season and then just spread it around the grass after Halloween. Your lawn will thank you come springtime.

I did this 3 years ago and it works great.

I agree with everyone this looks like a great idea and I'll have to try it in my yard!! One question and it might be a stupid one but I gotta ask: We've gotten rain in the past at Halloween and I'm just curious how these hold up. I figure since its a towel pretty well, but I thought I'd ask anyway!

The dirt on mine was constantly falling off when transporting it, but once it was laid down it was fine. If it gets wet, it'll be obviously heavier, but should hold up fine.

Life is not about arriving at the grave in pristine condition, Its about sliding in sideways all bang up and beaten saying" Holy Sh*t What A Ride!"
