Greetings,
I just picked up a couple of "Max" Skulls from Mr Skeleton. They are pretty decent for the price. Skull cap fits well, the jaw is aligned. The only problem I have is the Nasal Septum is a little bent out of shape.
Normally I wouldn't pay it much mind, but one of them is for a skull & crossbones I was commissioned to make. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to remedy this?

VERY hot (but not boiling) water will do the trick. Soak him for about 20 seconds and the plastic will soften just a bit. Bend the piece back in shape while still warm, then cool. I've used this trick to straighten Bucky skull parts for years. Works great!

A deviated septum, huh? Can you remove the septum piece from the skull? On some, you can. If so, themindshaft's idea would work.
Or you could try using a butane torch to warm up the material and then bend it.
Worst case scenario would be to visit your local ENT doctor and have him straighten it. That's what mine did. Now I can breathe better.

I haven't tried it, but I bet a heat gun would work..I have tried it on similar materials and you can use a pair of needle nose pliers to bend it back, then let it cool while holding. No water and you can direct the direct the heat better, I started out with a hairdryer but it takes longer to heat up so I just bought a heat gun.. heh heh

Used the heat gun & needle nose pliers today. Worked like a charm. Didn't have to call my ENT.

No, but Bucky did start suddenly to change color from lavender to orange to green, every color of the rainbow. He also sang the theme from Gillagan's Island to me. But seriously, I didn't notice any vapors, but I always work in a well ventilated area.

Awesome ! glad to have helped . ;D
I've never had any problems with vapors...but if used to the point it starts a fire you might inhale some smoke that way. I've burned pvc til it was melted charred and black..there was a bit of smoke..but it was outside so big deal.
