I could be wrong, but I believe this is a good price on a long roll of wide paper.

Paper is 60" (5 feet) wide, by 225 feet long - lots of uses for something like this.
Price on Amazon right now is $17.99 - and when I ordered (just a few minutes ago), the standard shipping was free (which is outrageous for this roll, at 32lbs).

Linky: Amazon.com: HP Heavyweight Coated Paper Q1957A (60 Inches x 225 Foot roll): Office Products

I'm thinking this would be great for facades, draped for ceilings in mazes, huge paper mache projects?
Wrap up a small whale for fish n' chips?
Hell is an eternity of getting up at 4am to nothing but decaf coffee...

If the shipping really is free, that's an amazing price! Keep us posted.

Well, it took a few days to get to shipping (I did order on a Thursday night, so I'm hoping the weekend was the big holdup), but it's being shipped out today.

Price remains at $17.99 - shipping is indeed free (company's in Nashville, Tennessee, I'm in Southern California, so no sales tax - we'll see how long shipping takes).

This happens a lot on Amazon. They put a wrong price on an item and let people order it, then they send out a cancellation message later saying the item is not available. I doubt he will ever get it, let alone a tracking number. They rarely ship anything for free that is under $25.

I once got several $30 mp3 players for $6.99 each with free shipping till they figured out they screwed up. Luckily it took them a week and I already had mine.

I just clicked it as well, and the seller has changed.
Previously, it was Essex Technology Group, and now it's showing Buy.com
I've gone through the Essex storefront on Amazon, and can't find this paper on there any longer.

There are some other good deals, but it seems this one is gone. I'm bummed, as I was considering a second roll.

I'm hoping this isn't the case this time - I have a FedEx tracking number showing the package leaving the Nashville FedEx location (after having been picked up from the shipper, and checked into the Nashville FedEx location).

The $17.99 is still there if you look near the bottom of the page. Some of you know that we do a haunt every year at a campground we belong to. I've been thinking it would be nice to have something to put up to hide the RV but paper wouldn't likely survive in the wind conditions we often get in late October. I've been looking at canvas drop cloth at Home Depot. It would be a little more expensive and maybe difficult to paint but it would be a lot more durable.

Just wondering how big the paper was? We do scouting and the local news paper gives us the end rolls of paper for projects and table covers. They are about a foot wider than a 8' folding table and usually have enough paper to last us 2 years covering all the tables for blue and gold.(about 40 tables a year) All for free.

Well, the paper just arrived, no C.O.D. or anything like that, and it's in perfect condition.
The paper itself is a bit heavier in composition than typical printer / inkjet paper and seems to be of similar texture - no special coatings or materials.

I'll get pic's later to show consistency, and hopefully scale of the roll (I'm 5 and a half feet tall, and this stuff is up to my nose!)

btw - exquized1, this paper is 5 feet wide, and the roll is 250 feet long.
What you're getting sounds larger, and since it's free, don't lose that connection! Great find on your part!
