Where is the best place to buy some LED miniture bulbs? Years ago I bought them in several colors. They also came with retisistors so I could use them with a 9volt power source or without a 3 volt power source. I prefer the ultra bright variety.
A BAD DAY ABOVE GROUND IS STILL BETTER THAN A GOOD ONE UNDER...I THINK?!

I like to buy my LED's on eBay - very cost effective, and I've yet to run into a "bad" LED...just don't ask about how I manage to burn so damn many out, as that's an entirely different story.

Here's an example of searching for 10mm LED's:
LED 10mm, Business Industrial, eBay Motors. Great deals on eBay!

Usually you can follow the sales right to the sellers shop, and they'll have deals on all types of colors.
Hell is an eternity of getting up at 4am to nothing but decaf coffee...

2009 photos and 2008 photos ...uhmmm...and what I have evolving...

come check out Darklight: Precision Lighting System,
we are specialized in Halloween LED lighting and offer multiple colors for each of our LED precision lights.

best of all, our LED precision lights already have resistors and regulation circuits. Also, the LEDs are not polarity specific, meaning you can plug them in without worrying about mixing up (+) and (-) terminals.

You can pick up a package at Radio Shack of several assortments of color (minus blue) and sizes for about 4 bucks. I never counted but there has to be 20-30 in it. A package of resistors (470 ohm for 12v) for .99.
What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

I get mine from an electronics supply shop just down the street from me. It's one of those places that has miles and miles of electronics and related items and it's all pretty much discounted. To me, it's a prop-builders heaven.....and not too far from that is the place where i get all of my pneumatic cylinders and fittings......heaven.....i'm in heaven........
