I have been commissioned to make a skull & crossbones prop. I was going to use a bucky skull & 2 bucky femurs. What glue would you all recommend to hold the bones together? This prop is going to be used on a beach, so it has to be waterproof, and ressistant to the salty air.

I would try a Marine type two part epoxy. It is used on boats, so should work.
A BAD DAY ABOVE GROUND IS STILL BETTER THAN A GOOD ONE UNDER...I THINK?!

I've had good luck in the past with using long screws driven through the bones from the rear, so people don't see the heads of the screws.
Bucky bones are solid resin, and are pretty durable - I'll usually drill a small hole all the way through first, to eliminate the chance of splitting the bone when driving the screw through it.
I have a Bucky skull, with some vertebrae, a shoulder and arm mounted on a post in my front yard that's been up for almost 2 years now (yeah...the neighbors just loooovee me), attached with just screws and a couple metal pins at pivot points, and it's holding up fantastically.Hell is an eternity of getting up at 4am to nothing but decaf coffee...
2009 photos and 2008 photos ...uhmmm...and what I have evolving...

I agree exterior screws from the back, and maybe a little two-part resin as insurance (or versa-visa).
What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

Thanx for all the suggestions. That's why i love this forum. I post & barely ten minutes later you guys start replying! I was thinking a combo of screws & marine epoxy would do the trick too.

I'm with the industrial hot glue and screws. It's always worked for me

as a side note I'm finding that more and more I'm goin to my hot glue for projects both around the house and Halloween instead of epoxies, cold glues and tape.
