Hi all, this is my first post besides the introduction one (and thanks again for the warm welcome!)
This is one of my first prop builds for this year, I'm starting with something fairly small to decorate the house or the yard, not sure yet... LOL
It's a sort of haunted lamp.
I'm trying to document every passage I'm making, it maybe useful for future reference if I want to make another one!
So here it is the first batch of pictures:
Here we start we the designg for the faces on thick cardboard...
And then I start cutting out the parts
Then I assembled the main body with hot glue
Then I made and attached the top of the lamp
Quick silly test
Then I coated the entire lamp with a mix of plaster, white glue and black acrylic paint (weird mix, I know!)
More pics in the following post...

After the coating I started painting it (the base is a light gold)...

Then I laminated this kind of paper to make the tinted windows

Then I finished painting and distressing it...

Now I need to install only the light bulb and it should be done!
And that's all for now, I hope I'll be able to update this thread regularly...
Cheers!
