Started working on my first 2010 tombstone dedicated to the infamous Lizzy Borden. I usually take my time with my props just because I have two jobs and don't have alot of extra time but I will update this thread from time to time with my progress.

Printed Lizzy Borden's picture from the computer, found the frame from Hobby Lobby for $2.00 I love that store. The frame will be recessed in the Styrofoam just a bit and glued with liquid nails.

    The tombstone is 2" thick x 4' H x 2' W

Great minds think alike !!! You are in the process of making Lizzy Borden's tombstone.........I am in the process of making LIZZY BORDEN !

I have just made a model of her head and face. My version will not look quite like her though . The old girl was a bit plain. This is going to be a long project I think.

What will you be doing with her head? Will she have a body or just a head on a table

Arlita, you may have to quit one of those jobs so you can get your tutorial done quicker! The tombstone is going to be sweet. I also loved your very graphic description of how the ax handle broke!

Wish I could but I am on my own and you gotta do what you gotta do. Yeh I think it will be pretty sweet myself, will probably be able to finish the wording done tonight. I figured since we were all haunters no one would mind my description about the ax.
