Because i moved from Maine to Tennessee, i never ever thought it would get cold enough here to freeze my latex.
it seems to have happened. i moved it inside, and im not sure it froze solid but....
is there any hope??????????
im going to try and pour some out into a pan tomorrow, see what happens. It was a full gallon with only 3 cups taken out.![]()

I keep 2 radiators running in winter time for all my liquids in the garage just for that reason. I hadn't had any freeze yet so I don't know, but I wish you luck. I'm interested to find out if there is a real effect as I've heard warnings about.

Oh Lady Althea, What a bad stroke of luck! If I spent out the $$$ for a Gallon and used only 3 cups.....then had to dump the rest, I'd cry too !!!!!
(As well as use the type of language this forum frowns on )
I hope at least some of it is still usable for you, let us know how it works out...ok ????

they fact that you guys are so sympathetic is the only bright spot to this. My mother, who im staying with righ tnow, just doesnt grasp the problem.
its completely trash. at first i thought i could save it, but then i poked a stick in it and its SOLID.
Hard lesson learned.

Sorry to hear that. So in solid you don't mean frozen but cured? Weird that freazing would simply do that but I'm no chemist.

Sorry it's a solid. From everything I read online either too much heat or freezing will cause the latex to separate and turn solid with no way to liquify after that point. Any chance you might be able to carve something out of it?
