Thread: Has anybody made a prop like this?

Love the looks of this and may try to make it has anyone done a similiar prop.It looks like a simple prop.

WOW 399.00? I think I could do that for about 40-60.00. I'm in the wrong biz.

You could do a full sized skeleton prop like that for:
$50 - Garden Ridge skelton
$10 - corpsing (assuming you have the supplies laying around)
$5 - some flicker lights

Sheesh - $399. I'm in the wrong business!

My price was around half that but still to pricey.
I can get the half torso for 44.00 so that is what I would use.
But don't know how to do the lights they state they have 2 bulbs and I can see how the one is placed but not exactly the other It's in the chest but how it's mounted is a ?).So I was hoping someone had done one or something along these lines.And to me it looks pantyhosed- unripped corpsed.

It says there are 2 seven watt bulbs besides the flicker bulb in the mouth. I would say you would want them in the chest facing the ground for the most unobstructed lighting. You could probably just wire up 3 sockets to one plug to keep it simple. You can get small candleabra sockets at Lowes for less than a couple of bucks each. You could easily experiment with different bulbs and colors to get the effect you wanted. Might even consider a flicker circuit inside the chest ?

The pointing to ground makes sense.Because the face is not over lighted.I talked to hubby last night and we had discussed the sockets and flicker bulbs he said it was simple...I think I would like flicker in the chest.
