I decided to hide the spotlights a little better this year so this is what I cam up with.

After the wire frame and tape I mached, drylocked, and started the paint.

very cool, its the details like this that are what can make a scene. Can you access the bulbs from the bottom of the rocks if you need to change the bulbs later? I have been considering doing something like this because it bothers me that I have a graveyard with visible spotlights, it just takes away from the natural element that I am trying to go for, you know? I never thought about doing it with chicken wire, thanks man.

Great job! I've always found lights a bit of a pain to hide, so this is a great technique that I may just have to try out this year.

Thanks. They easily screw in to the socket at the side of th stone and the cord is near the bottom.
I got the idea from a Mache Make N Take we did. Another way would be to build a shell with a a open back to use for lights ofr speakers.

1/1 water and Elmers wood glue.
I also like to use paper towel as the final layer. I like the texture.
