I just picked up an electric organ on Craigslist for free! What a score it works and everything. My plan is to convert this organ to a spooky pipe organ and have a skeleton playing it for my yard haunt. I will add a motor to the skeleton for movement and music will play from inside the organ. I am using pvc for pipes and with paint them gold. I will also add candles skulls and a large bat to hold the music sheets. So I have a good concept of what I will be doing to create the prop but I am curious if anyone else out there has made one? If so do you mind sharing pictures to help inspire my design?

We made one a couple of years ago. It isn't as elaborate as mark goodson's, but we like it

Here is ours. Someday, I hope to animate it, but for now, it's just a static prop. Not as cool as some i've seen here, but it looks pretty good in low light, with cobwebs all over it, and a corpse sitting at it. I have a CD of Bach organ concertos that I play through three way computer speakers hidden in the organ. Honestly, Tocata & Fugue in D Minor is great, but it's not my favorite track. There are some other really cool, spooky tracks on it. Anyone building pipe organ prop should really pick up a copy!

One can never have too many skulls!

Wow these all look amazing! I will most likely build the organ as a static prop this year and just animate my organist only. I love all of these such wonderful jobs you all did.

Wow. That is EXACTLY the same organ I found thrown in a ditch close to my house last year. I haven't done anything with mine yet.
