Thread: Couch foam tombstones

Has anyone ever considered using couch cushion foam for tombstones?
I haven't really seen it in any threads.
Years ago when I worked on a huge haunted house attraction in a vacant shopping mall we used the stuff for cemeteries and it worked out great.
You can pick at it with your fingers to make it look chipped then hit it with simple latex house paint and dry brush it to look like stone.

I used thin pieces of foam rubber years ago when I was first thinking up cheap ways to decorate as a teen. I remember it was a pain to spray paint because it kept soaking in but I still have them and use them to fill in dummies.

I bet you could actually do some neat gags because the stones would be flexible...hmm...

I use to use plenty of foam.... we made everything out of it.... since going pro I am unable to get them to pass code in our attraction. but you can cut anything into foam...

the foam should work fine
