I picked up a small compression style juicer yesterday for $1.50 and was wondering if anyone had ever hacked one and used it successfully for a leering prop or the like?

my guess is the motor speed is too fast to make it useful. from experiance i have found it best to spend a little more and get a surplus gear motor or wiper motor. your prop will be easier to build and work better over the long run, just my opinon though

I agree about the speed. I was able to easily re-wire the thing so that it runs constantly without having to be pressed on and it has a significant amount of torque. For 1.50 I just really want this thing to be worthwhile so I can say...this prop is powered by a 1.50 juicer motor.
