Here is my design, this is with out any flourishes or anything, just basic structural concept. I used concepts from a bush gardens hearse, which also looks similar to some things scatterbrains did. I hope to have this for the 2010 Morumen Cemetery Haunt.

That looks cool....what did you use to draw it?

I like how you have the seat up against the box instead of the gap.

If you're going to have someone in it on Halloween, figure out a way to get a heater in there. I plan on picking up a couple of portable heaters when they start going on clearance

The hearse was drawn with Google Sketchup, then I did some photoshop work and finally illustrator. It most likely won't have actors in it, I think at the most a casket that opens and shuts. Thanks for the kind words.

So I should update, I have changed the design, it is what I'm using below.

I recently (yesterday) built a temp dance floor for my cousins wedding, when the wedding is over, the dance floor will become my hearse, or most of at least.

This got me thinking about my design, and how I wanted to make it unique, so I had to change it up, it started with just the doors.

Their inspiration is minions web and his gate, which is awesome. I'm trying to contact him to see if he doesn't mind.

Then the side panel is all out of my head and just wanted something different. I was trying to make it look like the wings are coming out of the skull if you're looking at it from the right angle.

Course this is missing the wheels and "axels", the lights and some column pieces plus all the little decorative flourishes, but it gives me an idea of where I really want to go with this.

To make it easy it's an 8'x4' hearse, to limit the amount of cuts and it will be bolted together for easy dissassembly

Has anyone on here ever made a hearse our of Styrofoam? I think that would be a great option and easy to store, but I wonder how challenging it would be to sculpt and to keep from tipping over in windy weather.
