ok. So I hadn't really noticed it. Nobody wanted it when the bid came up. All the seeable wiring is still good looking and I got it for $2.50. It has 10 "candles", no bulbs, and a very promising urn shaped top.

I'm imagining flicker bulbs (where do I find those cheap? lowes, home depot as usual?) Webs, skulls, mini tombstones. hanging bats, crystals.
I'll need to wire on a plug. I'm thinking using it in the peak of my canopy and having it plug in to its own personal extention cord. That way its protected outside but I can still light it up. I'm going to be learning a bit of electrical for this project.

I also have a chandelier very similar to yours (although you got a great price for yours). I just bought flicker bulbs at home depot.

Electrically you can get/buy a black extension chord, or even cut a chord off a dead vacuum, and simply use a couple wire nuts to attach the two wires together.

By the way I received great feedback for mine. You'll love yours. Be careful when you store it. They are susceptible to damage. I might suggest that you remove the bulbs post season as they tend to shatter when bumped.

I see great potential in this. At $2.50 you scored for sure. I see skull chandeliers go for as much as $500 online. For $50 or so, you have such a great project! Can't wait to see your pictures.
    I love the screaming!

I'll have to go look for the bulbs. 2 of the lower arms are a bit wobbly and one does "pop"out of its attaching point. It appears the cord in the arm is a about a quarter inch too long and is helping the arm disjoint with the least upward pressure.
Thank you for all the comments.

Burned out???? Your display looks great! Maybe the bug will catch you later in the season?

Thanks Bam. Hopefuly I can recharge. Its extremely hard to walk away from Halloween entirely.
I am the only one that does my yard, and maybe one friend I see only twice a year might show up for 2 or 3 hours. So for the past 5 to 6 years its all been Me all up in one day and back down and mostly put away for the year before 2am the same night. So this is something for me to have year round, to have in my personal space, and to see and maybe add something to once or twice a month. A little mental battery recharge project and eventual space.

I hear ya! I also run the haunt by myself. I'm too nervous to set up anything early or leave it out too late for fear of vandals. Makes for one loooooong day, but I still love it. I discovered this hobby make me a much happier person. A nice stress relief.
