Im on a roll with the props LOL This is a little side table i picked up for 5.00. It was blue and white when i got it. I transferred the graphic by using carbon paper. what a pain!!!! But it was worth it in the end.

This is a really cool prop. If you can animate it it would be awesome. Nice job!

thanks everyone! Animating it would be really great!
My daughter told me to put a ring of white pain around the edge on the bottom adn to mix the paint with sea salt to keep the naughty things away.
Better safe than sorry i figure so ill add that tomorrow.

Wonder if you could manipulate the planchette with a magnet from below the board.

How About "Haunted Checkers"? –

I had a small decorative table the exact size as a checkerboard. Playing the part of a mysterious and evil host all dressed in black with a black cape I would tell them that they could not defeat me in a quick checker game (the inference being they would be doomed when I won)
Just a very few moves into the game as they slid their black checker along to land on a black square they discovered the just automatically lost as their checker vanished!
I cut out the black square and the table top with an exacto blade and in the dimmly lit room ..they never it saw it coming!
Their lost checker dropped down into a small box out of sight."My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"

I like your table a lot ! It's a good idea ! Perhaps you could make a Gypsy fortuneteller to sit at it and move the planchet or something
I like that checker table bit too (hmmm.....you know that may be the same guy that took me at ring toss at the county fair one time with weighted rings, hmmm...)
