    Hallow Forum Fiends!

Just thought I would start a thread that shares ideas for where to order some of the cool basic supplies we need (individual or in bulk) for props we are building. I know there are other threads with "wanted to buy" etc. but I guess I am impatient and wanted to start an old fashioned simple list.
I was inspired by lauriebeast's post on her new witch prop! Very cool!

My first entry on the list:

Styro foam wig heads: Mannequin, Mannequins - Inflatable Male, Female, Child, Dog Mannequins

This site even has an inflatable dog form!! How cool a prop would that make!

I was hoping the female inflatables would be the more...ahem...anatomically correct type.

I think you can find the simple foam wig heads and inflatable human forms at local specialty party stores for the same price or even cheaper.
Can't say I've ever seen an inflatable doggie though.

Eh hemm... sorry to deflate your hopes Haunter!

I think the best pricing happens when you order in bulk - but what would any of us do with 40+ foam heads!?! LOL Well - I'll take a cue from you and check local stores. Good suggestion.

Susie.....Thank you for that link ! I have been looking for a good size inflatable female and male form(s) that was not just a torso . I want to have a form to paper mache over to use as the base of more props. (Kinda like we paper over a balloon for a balloon head.)

I think with a good release agent, once the form is hard I can deflate the form, remove it from the "shell" and remove the inflatable for the next few times.

Once more thanks !!!!! Just what I wanted !!! *big hugs*

If anyone is interested in a bulk/group buy PM. That's a great price and so many props could be made.

Hey I use to work for Sears as the Store decorator and every so often they throw out the older styles and replace them for the hole store maybe calling and asking the store decorating staff at different places could lead to boxes of hands (missing a finger or two) and could lead to get deals.
