I decided to make another witch for my display. I don't usually post progress pics until I'm a bit farther along with the sculpting, but I thought you guys might enjoy seeing the transformation as it's happening. As always, I start with a styro wighead and apply a coat of Celluclay over the entire head, then Das clay, then Paperclay....enjoy!

That's going to be one wicked looking witch! Love the eye!

Wow, you inspire me to give something like that a try! How long of a drying time between 'layers?'

Thanks Dave and caju12831. The Celluclay base took several days to dry and the Das clay and Paperclay pretty much dried overnight. I sometimes use a fan to speed up the drying time.

That's looking pretty sweet! Now when your done, you can come to Cincinnati and make me some or just ship a couple to me. LOL I love the lazy eye too!
